Both and Neither

A bioethics design studio helping leaders untangle their product org so they can get back to precision medicine.

After 15 years on digital strategy and scientific software teams, leading user experience research, design, and product, I am opening a new kind of practice.

Why? Because my experience and know-how are not for just another consulting gig, but a holistic offer to deliver real products in highly contentious spaces like national biobanks and decision support for oncology.

Quietly building out loud
I am taking the summer to lay the foundation for this new studio, and open for a limited set of commitments this fall.

My offers include:

• Lectures, keynotes, and staff training on how to stop seeing ethics as a compliance burden but as a creative design constraint.
• Product design advisory as a retainer model for strategy-level support when the product team is shipping faster than everything else.
• Hands-on design governance sprints when you need to quickly decide how to decide. Best for newly formed ambitions.

The work I'm most drawn to: software and large-scale initiatives that wrestle with keeping ethics (not just compliance) and product design tight on delivery. If that's the space you are in, I would love to hear from you.
